Excellent Service

I had to return my beautiful coat I bought because the zip had broken. I explained to the young lady at the till who was lovely and she got Abbi to come and sort it out Abbi was amazing and it was hassle free...She knew how much I loved the coat and even tried to find a way for me to have it repaired...money back ...I love TK Maxx in Hinckley...absolutely amazing

Terrible website

Terrible website. Compared to other online shopping websites, TK Maxx is poor! Hard to navigate, terrible pictures, search doesn’t “search”. Just awful.

Very dissappointed

I’m dissappointed,ordered on friday,didn’t came by now,it’s currently thursday,it was a present for my brother’s birthday,I had to stand without any gifts...

Going into administration no doubt…

After leaving a poor review for TKMaxx due to their lack of customer service and getting a reply on trustpilot to contact them again (at a different email address) so they could investigate and resolve, I did.Still waiting for a reply, much less a resolution or investigation.Just waiting to hear they are going into administration and then I’ll be stuck with the faulty goods and no refund....

I had to pay £8.99 for my return…

I had to pay £8.99 for my return postage, I still haven’t received an email that my parcel has been received, nor anything about my refund! By spending £8.99 I didn’t think it would take this long! Please can someone resolve this as I am worried I’ve lost a lot of money!

Purchased a pair of HiTec mens walking…

Purchased a pair of HiTec mens walking boots at the end of July by the end of September they had split. I had to pay postage to return due to COVID 19, chase up on several occassion because I had heard nothing. Finally they responded after 7 weeks to say, not faulty problem down to wear and tear so no refund. I wonder how they measure the level of customer service and how valued their customers feel? Thinking about it they probably don't bother because it's not importanat to them!! Re response below, it has not definately not been resolved.

Price labels ruin products

After starting to wrap Christmas presents purchased from TKmaax 3 of them now have damage on the packaging as the world's worst price labels they use wouldn't peel off! Why cant easy peel one piece labels be used?

I wouldn't normally write a bad review…

I wouldn't normally write a bad review unless it was appalling, and TK Maxx Kirkcaldy was the epitome of dreadful yesterday. My partner was really upset; working in Covid-19 front line care is stressful enough, to be accused of lying & treated like a petty criminal for returning a product with receipt was the last straw. It was a reduced price sports bag £17 with a stain in the top zip pocket. It was a gift and ruined the surprise. The Manager on Fri 6th Nov (male, older, short, balding, check shirt, aggressive) said the item was "too poor quality to be sold in TK Maxx" the receipt was for a diff item, and my partner was attempting to defraud the shop by asking for a replacement. My partner was shocked and was explaining when she bought the bag etc the manager said "I don't care what you're saying" having made his mind up we were petty criminals trying to get a replacement. "I'm not your mate" quality customer service. We will never be back, will tell everyone and review across social media as is our right as enraged consumers. -5 stars

Excellent Service

I don't normally leave reviews but had to comment on the excellent Jack at the Lincoln store Sunday 01.11.2020. He was extremely helpful sorting out gift vouchers that I had saved on my phone, all various values and he apportioned them per transaction. Excellent customer service and so patient.

Caveat Emptor

I have had some wonderful bargains from TK Maxx's Hammersmith's Gold section in the past, but was surprised to see a "RAINS" jacket in the Gold section priced at £99.99p when the maker's tag showed that the RRP (expressed in multiple currencies) equated to £72 — buyer beware!

Sent damaged items, no response from customer services

They sent me several heavy items in a flimsy plastic bag and inevitably one of the items was damaged. It's been over a month now and they still haven't responded to my request for a refund or the item to be resent. Beware buying from them online, I certainly never will again.Edit: thanks for the top tip Richard, I'm sure emailing for the 4th time will do the trick. Maybe instead of giving useless responses on Trust Pilot, your time would be better spent responding to what I can only imagine must a long list of complaints already sent to customers services.Update: still absolutely no response from TK Maxx, apart from the especially unhelpful one from Richard in reply to this review. It's actually shocking customer services. I'm going to begin a formal complaint process with the ombudsman, as my consumer right have been violated. The goods I received were damaged and I qualify for a full refund or replacement.
